If you were between the ages of five and fifteen you would think Reya had the best job in the world. She watched YouTube for a living. Her job was to vet videos, placed in that age criterion, to see if indeed were suitable for viewers of that particular age group. For Reya, it was work that permitted her to make a living while having crippling social anxiety. She did not need to reach out to or come in contact with people. The screen shielded her. But, this was about to change as she started screening videos made by single mother Jas. Jas and her young son Ryan vlogged about their days, a series of uploads, which suddenly ended. As Reya pieces together what happened to Jas and Ryan, she becomes more and more tangled with their lives, until it is difficult to tell what is virtual and what is real.
