Athena has no one.

Jax has everyone. 

Prince of the new world, he has no understanding of the war that rages outside the kingdom walls. After the violent death of his childhood tutor, Jax begins to realize the world around him is slowly spinning into all out chaos - and that he doesn't want to be King if his only legacy is cruelty. 

Their fates are inevitably intertwined, and together, Athena and Jax will be forced to face a prophecy that could leave their country in ruin or usher it into a new era of peace.

When he's given the opportunity of a lifetime, he seizes it, and moves in with his Great Uncle in his odd manor up in the northern part of the state There, he discovers a place of magic and wonder that had been living under his nose this whole time! It's a dream come true. But not all is as it seems in this land of make-believe. As Charlie works to uncover the darker side of this magical world, he must learn what it truly means to be a hero...his OWN way. **AUTHOR'S NOTE - I'm very excited to share this project with you all! This is a passion project of mine, a love letter to the YA fantasy genre, as well as a deconstruction of many of the tropes. It's a twist on the usual YA fantasy formula, and will definitely be poking fun at certain aspects! I hope you will find it a refreshing breath of fresh air, and love it as much as I enjoyed writing it! Currently, upon creation of this story, I have around 90 pages of content, and be rolling out the titles of the first five chapters, alongside the full chapter one, upon release! Afterwards I'll continue rolling out the next five chapter titles until I fully complete all five, and so on and so forth. Have fun, guys, and enjoy!
