I grabbed a gun and shot him in the arm and he went down.

I turned to face the idiot who had gotten us into this situation. "What?" I asked after he continued to stare at me.

"Are you an Angel or a Devil?" A kick to my leg interrupted my response. Kneeling on one knee, I turned my torso and shot him in the other arm. "Definitely a devil," he answered his own question.

~
In a world where Angels exist, Lailah Arianna Ezekiel is sent to Earth to protect a human. When Lailah begins her duty to protect him, they are nothing but strangers. But when the attempts to take his life go too far, Lailah and him have to team up to hunt down whoever is after him.

Will this mission to protect turn into a mission of love? Will the immortal world accept a human and guardian angel's love? But more importantly, will he survive?

Give it a shot. The book will be much better than the summary, I promise.
