Everybody has a secret-some big, some small. Phoenix has massive secrets; some of them she doesn't even know. This is her story. It involves a murderer, a cat and a far from ordinary life.

Hey guys! This is just a first draft, so there may be a few errors. Having said that, I'd love for you to give me improvements and constructive criticism! I was suddenly inspired to write this story, so here I am! Once I've published all of the chapters, I'll rewrite this book.

He reports shamefully, holding his head downwards. The butler seemed as though fearing for his life. I hold the lavender ball gown up to my chest, looking at myself in the floor length mirror. "On the contrary, dear Joseph," I pause, listening as my sweet Scottish accented voice floats around the room in tranquility. I turn to him, my ice eyes resting on him. "We are very, very old vampires." I drop the dress, and the butler looks up in fear. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump. I walk back and pick up the lavender dress, admiring my smiling reflection in the mirror as the tragically human butler bleeds out onto the expensive Russian rug. --- Some plot lines and moments of the Originals has been altered for this story. She died and left everything to Hope, including her baby daughter, Elena. To keep Elena safe from her father, Hope took her newly adopted daughter and ran.
