Alex Rider's new mission was to go to prison under the analysis Skar, the fourteen year old boy who had killed his family (and didn't regret it). Of course, Skar was the code name he had given himself. The full name was Daniel Ride.
He only had one problem. Why did he fit so well into his persona?

His torture was their entertainment. His pain was what they thrived on. Then it went way too far, and he ran. He barely knew this boy, but when he needed a friend, this sweet, raven haired boy told him the most important word that he hadn't heard in a long time. "You're safe." Safe was something Alex hadn't felt since he was a child, and even then, after the truth all came out, he realized he had never been safe in the first place. Luke is annoyed. Why did he have to be stuck like this? He's some 8 or 9 years old now and being forced to stick around annoying people who will end up dead like everyone else. or Luke wakes up as a kid and knows he once was an adult but does not remember anything really about that life. He finds this new kid's life taking over more and more of his mind, and gets stuck as a prisoner for a group of survivors held up in a prison, after 'happily' surviving on his own for the last 6 months.
