Ethan Miller is the loner that everyone knows about. Dark clothes, dark personality, dark past. After 17 years, he decides that he doesn't want to put up with anything any longer. Ethan decides that living just isn't worth it anymore. He has a plan and in two months, he'll be another memory. 

Genesis Hills is normal. She's not popular, she's not an outcast. She's not top of the class, but shes not failing. She doesn't always walk around with a smile, but she's not depressed. Her life is average, and she's okay with that. Genesis just feels like she could be doing more. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Genesis and Ethan end up working in the same grocery store. She wants to be his friend, but he wants to be left alone. Genesis knows she can wedge her way into this boy's life, but does she get more than what she bargained for? Can she save him?
