Redolent

After an epidemic of catastrophic proportions hits Earth, the people are changed into evolved monsters that prey on humans wipe the race into extinction. Project Seed, created Redolent, and other mecha-human beings, locking them away until a hundred's years time, hoping that in the future, the monsters--called Pentium, die out. Project Seed was supposed to help repopulate the Earth and restore it to order. Project Seed... fails. The Earth very different, but if possible, even more dangerous.
