the most depressing thing you can witness is watching someone so happy, so carefree, turn into a monster spiraling out of control within the span of a couple years. fame is something many wish to have, but few actually receive. the ones who do receive have a choice to make soon after their rise to stardom, and that is to either cope with the shit that gets thrown at you, or to let it get to your head, and luke let every little hurtful comment get to him. he didn't know how to cope with all the hate, and all the disapproving and disgusted stares he got on a regular basis, and he was tired of it. he needed help, and adelaide winters was his best shot of getting that.
