In this future parents have the choice to send their children to a place called 'The Mine.' Parents are allowed to send there kids while they are under 18 years of age and they stay there for the rest of their life.
In the Mine, the children train brutally for the missions for the military. They train for 10 hours a day unless otherwise told. The other 14 hours of the day they can do whatever they want to do.
This is the story of a troop in the the Mine.
A troop with a lot of drama.

Repopulating Uvis
Our planet had been on the way to destruction same as many others. However, we were able to turn it around but not without major irreversible genetic damage. It had been many years since a new female has been born on Uvis. We had set out and tried many other planets to find suitable breedable females. After much testing only one planet would work. Gaia or as the inhabitants called it Earth. We had been testing certain ones quietly. Working with their planet's leaders for a few years and have gotten the okay to reach out to the females of this planet. Everything was fine one day the next we kept losing power and then the announcements form the leaders and from an actual freaking alien! The offer was a good one for some, but could they be trusted? What would happen to the women who went to Uvis would they be treated well? Was it just a way to reduce the Earth's population so it was easier to take over? This is the same universe as Owned by them. New characters and a newer more civilized way of acquiring new females. This one is a bit more mature. I was writing this at the same time as the other. Ending the War
The war pitted brother against brother, and they are not sparing anyone, no matter how innocent. However, with the hand she'd been dealt, Victoria is far from innocent. She stuck around for her sister, Sarah, followed her Father's rules, or at least tried to when nothing was ever good enough for him.
