Have you ever wondered what in the mythical world keeps all the dark and malevolent beings in check? Have you ever thought, with all the monsters that feed on humans (such as werewolves, ghouls, vampires, and so on) do any beings exist that feed on them? Maybe with there being so many creatures at war with each other in the mythical world, you've wondered which is truly the greatest and the most powerful.
Well, Rage is not only the title of this book, but it is also a race of mythical creatures that supersede all others. Set in our modern world this story follows the lives of a group of Rage who are outcast and exiled due to their personal attachments and downfalls. 
One character, in particular, is the focus of the story. Due to falling in love with a human he must battle within himself to decide whether to follow the traditions of his people and his family or to be with her. If he stumbles upon her true identity, she is screwed. "What are you doing?!" growls his highness, ripping the knife from my hands. It tingles as his fingers close around my wrist. Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha. Witches must learn how to create their own spells and incantations. They'll poison anyone they want to die. That's how dangerous they are. Nature is the only way for them to survive. They live in a garden full of flowers and trees. Wandering around and taking care of their place is one of their habits. Fairies have a precious heart and mind that can always turn evil. Their place is full of power. They are all perfect in the way their minds work. But sometimes, even the gods and goddesses have their own flaws. They get scared when their loved ones are involved in trouble that can lead to death. They could turn into demons anytime they want. Their fur is as soft as cotton. They transform into wolves. Their golden eyes glimmer when they see their prey. They will savor it until nothing is left. Werewolves are indeed beautiful with a beast's heart when it comes to their target. They are all in the Amaranthine Academy. Will they be in chaos, or will they unite? Welcome to Amaranthine Academy!

THIS BOOK IS COMPLETED but it will be HEAVILY EDITED and have things added to it in the future. I wrote this book when I was much younger. I didn't expect it to reach this amount of popularity so I will devote my time to bettering it in the future. ------------------ Every year, in our village and the neighbouring villages, we encounter, on what is suppose to be the most divine and celebrated day of the year, a visit from the 'big bad wolf'. At least that's what the children call him. Adults like to call him "inhuman" or a "wild ravenous monster". However, the majority settle for "beast". No one knows why he ruins this specific day for us, the day we can celebrate our species: werewolves. Some despise him for taking this day from us and forcefully exchanging our merry and joyful laughs to screams of fear. When that specific day of the year approaches us, none of us are ever prepared for it. He always comes at night. We are told to lock our windows, draw our curtains and our doors. We are told to hide. There's one main rule that we have: don't look at him. Because if you do, no one knows what'll happen to you. Maybe that's the worse part, not knowing your fate. Not knowing the outcome of your foolish actions. If he comes roaming your streets, you have a right to be scared. Us "maidens" are always encouraged to hide ourselves the most, it's women that he supposedly wants more. However, I believe that that is a cautionary excuse. He'll take you, no matter how old or how young, no matter how innocent or how corrupt, no matter your gender, all it takes is a look. Either he looks at you, or you look at him, or you both exchange looks. Either way, his senses will pick you up, and you can't hide. It'll be too late. The amazing cover is by @-blackrogue.
