I couldn't move.
My head was spinning and I felt horrible. I was still shaking violently and now I was even sweating. A few passed by me hurriedly as I heard screams from the front yard. Next thing I know I can only hear sounds echoing from the rooms near me. I managed to also make out the sound of a police car siren.
What were the police doing here!
"We suspect there is someone exchanging drugs from this establishment, as we have heard reports of this. We also have a search warranty. We need to find out if our suspicions are right." I hear a police officer saying.
Drugs? What did he mean drugs?
"Go ahead officer, but I assure you my party is drug-free!" Bethany responded to the officer's allegation.
I moved my body to face my backpack when the officers started to peer into my bag. What could they possibly find in there apart from my lipstick and wallet and that book I borrowed from the library a week ago?
Maybe even a few tampons.
I wasn't worried, until...
"Cocaine." I heard one of the officers say.
