Leaving her legacy on the infamous, dirty handed Brown Bag University,  Violet O'Shea is thrust into the life of her disabled cosmology professor, Dr. Maxwell Czechowicz.  Alluring and mysterious forever more, he is vulnerable to her, as his body is almost completely paralyzed. 
Violet's world will revolve around him and all he tries to teach her, finding an intimacy she had never thought possible.  Meanwhile, Violet must face the three women that still tantalize his being, and make sense of a mysterious hole in her collage town that is killing everything  and everyone she holds dear.  
As it would turn out, being a woman in love and a man in chains in not of much cosmic significance.
