Red Thread of Fate: According to this myth, the gods tie an invisible red cord around the little finger of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break.

Braden has never believed in myths or rumors, even when everybody he knows claims that its true. His best friend Denis has a so-called 'soulmate', and his parents tell him that they met with the string too. But Braden has never believed them, as he doesn't have a string himself. But sometimes people are wrong about things, and things start turning around when he meets Elijah, and the string appears.
