Brighter than Stars

Night, a young boy living in the Kalos region, is about to have his life changed. Not old enough to become a trainer, this highly intelligent 8 year old spends his time learning from his father. Being such an adaptable young boy, his father already had something special for him on his 10th birthday. With his 9th birthday just around the corner, his anticipation for his 10th grows, leading to his rebellious decision to go out hunting with a poke ball, in attempt to catch his first pokemon. Will this reckless decision turn out for better, or worse?
