Out of The Blue

25 parts Complete

17-year-old foster, Marie Rousseau was taken away from her family at a very young age. Marie now lives with a different family but it's not home. Her stepfamily is bitter towards her; they wanted a boy. Except for her stepdad, John, who is the only one kind to her; he has grown to love her. Suddenly, she's kidnapped by 3 men who start asking about a sum of money that she has no clue about, but they believe she's connected and knows. According to the kidnappers, the riches belonged to someone who left it to be taken since the 1860s; they insist she knows. How? They believe she's connected according to a "valuable resource. This "legend" went on for generations and the 6th-great grandfather of one of them also left a letter about it to be passed on within their family line. Could they have the wrong person? Marie knows nothing at all; nothing makes sense to her. She attempts her escape from the men and the woods. Along the way however, family secrets begin to unravel and her curiosity about the money starts to eat her alive. Even if she's the wrong person, maybe it wouldn't hurt to find this money for herself.
