He yells constantly at the girl in the street. She sits up and gazes at him. Then a big truck decides to head right down the street. "Move!" Natsu yells. But it's already to late. Lucy wakes up in a hospital. Only, no sound waves are vibrating in her ears. She's deaf, and the pink-haired guy sitting to her right saved her. Natsu Dragneel was always a tough guy to get to know. He would never smile or interact with people. He never wanted friends nor did he care to have any. He grew up with a bad past. His parents abandoned him when he was still a baby. He had to learn to live on his own. Now he is in school 3rd year at Fairy Tail High. He soon will have a strange encounter with what seems to be a really nice girl moving into the next room beside him in the apartment. Lucy Heartfilia was a sweet and nice go lucky girl. Every chance she got to help people she would take that opportunity to give up some of her time for others. She had lots of friends at Sabertooth high, but her real friends go to a school in Magnolia at Fairy Tail high. When she gets there for her 3rd year she sees someone being bullied. Her neighbor. Of course she helps him but once she does she feels a bad aura surrounding this boy. She soon learns who he is and how he was never seen in a good mood. She decides to make it her mission to get him to smile if it's the last thing she does.Complete

"Where are we?" She asked. Her voice was scratchy and full of cracks. How long had she been unconscious for? "Don't know. Just woke up." Came the response. He still hadn't moved, his eyes never leaving her, never blinking. Lucy shuddered as a cough raked her body. It was so cold. When Natsu and Lucy decide to go on a job to find and catch a thief, they have no idea what they are in for. When, as usual, the job ends in a disaster and they are trapped in a prison-cavern, Natsu and Lucy must face the fact that they are stuck. With no supplies to help them survive they must rely on the weekly arrival of food and water. But how long can meagre scraps support their ravaging hunger? As Natsu and Lucy's bond grows stronger and stronger, and they become weaker, Lucy must face the facts. When Lucy becomes deathly ill, the pair must find the will to survive while they hope for a shrinking chance at being rescued. But will being rescued be enough, of will their flickering hearts burn out.Complete
