This story is not just about Daenerys Targaryen but her older sister Rhaenyra Targaryen.
Born two years before Daenerys, they along with their older brother Viserys flee King's Landing, during the Great Rebellion, and across the Narrow Sea. Their they fight to survive.
Soon though they are gifted with something that will help them do more then just survive, but conquer.
Dragons. And with their dragons they set their eyes on taking back their birthright, the Iron Throne.
But along the way Rhaenyra meets a man. A man with dark curly hair and eyes as dark as the night sky. And he will show her something that she has always wanted, love.

A War of Fate and Prophecy
The younger sister of Daenarys Targaryen, Alyssays (Aly) was born at the end of Roberts rebellion, just hours before she and her siblings had to be smuggled out of Dragonstone for fear of their lives and losing their mother in an early birth that kept the small princess sickly throughout most of their childhood. Her brother resented her for the loss of their mother but was fiercely jealous and possessive of her. Dany was her most fervent protector and the only thing she ever defied her brother about was his treatment of Aly. Her childhood had been spent in hiding and fear across the narrow sea, but like Targaryen seers in the past her dreams were full of visions that always came to pass. The one she had been having as long as she could remember were of a boy. Black curls and dark brown eyes that always seemed sad, she knew he was real because as she had grown so had the images, she had seen of him. I saw the trailer for House of the Dragon season 2 and it just broke my heart how devastated Rhaenyra look. Since I know a lot of what will happen because I read the books. I decided I wanted to write them a happy ending. 😊 This is part of the Dragon's Heir universe. The Gods realize that the Targaryens are about to kill each other, especially after Lucerys's death. They have seen the way Rhaenyra's heart has harden and they want to save them from making more mistakes.
