A world decimated by a nuclear war. A lifeboat that sails overhead, waiting for the hell storm brewing below to die down. This story takes place in the eyes of two boys who are sent down to their home planet that hasn't seen human contact in 97 years...or so they thought. 

One has the heart of gold but the strength of glass while the other boy has the latter.

"Why can't you just accept who you are!" I yell at him.

He looks down at the floor and then back up at me. 

"Because I am nothing like you! You are not what I intend to be. 'We' will never happen. Get that through your head... or I will do it myself but with a bullet." 

He walks off as I stand there in the rain. Broken. Never to be put back together again.
