Noong bata pa ako, ang akala ko mas mauunang mamamatay ang mas matatanda kaysa sa mas bata. Ang akala ko mas tatagal ang buhay nila dito sa lupa. Matagal kong pinanghawakan ang akalang iyo. Dumaan ang mga taon, at 'yon ang dala-dala ka sa aking isipan. Ngunit ang akala ay akala. Pinaniwalaan ko iyon, ngunit habang tumatagal ay unti-unti akong ginising ng katotohanan sa isang pangyayaring pilit kong nilalabanan.
