He felt something run down his chin. He touched it with his small fingers, looking at his fingers. Blood covered his tops of his fingers. He wiped the blood off his face and stood up. He looked at his bare feet and his legs. His legs were scratch but not to bad. His feet hurt from running. A noise make small child look over to his left. A bush made a rustling sound, this made the boy look over. Jyushi watched as a tall man came out of the bush. The man wore a black suit with a blue shirt under it. Sprawled out on the ground covered head to toe in bright blue paint wasn't exactly how I envisioned the first day of my last year at high school playing out yet here I am. I suppose it was hopeful thinking, presuming that everything would just roll on by smoothly and I'd be able to just survive this year unnoticed by everyone especially considering half the school was grouping around me with their phones held out snickering and filming like I was born to be a jester. And just when I thought it couldn't possibly get any worse Micah Holt, the schools quarterback, the most popular kid on the block and the next Alpha of the Crescent Pack in which we reside stumbled upon me.

"Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Concluida

A boy stood at the edge of the balcony, peering down at the floor beneath him. He knew all it would take was a single step to end all of this. End the pain. End the struggle. Just as he was about to take a step off the edge, he felt hands wrap themselves around his waist, ripping him away from the edge. "How dare you even try to escape us in this way..." A deep voice said him. Though the voice seemed quiet and calm, the boy knew better. Another voice made its way into his ears. "You should know that even if you succeeded in your pathetic attempt at escaping us, we would do everything in our power to be with you even in death." Yes... He knew this fact all too well. Tears rolled down his face, knowing that there was truly... No way out.
