{Cover by Ms_Horrendous} ~ "H-hello?" I called, grabbing at my chest. There were doctors in the hallway, but they weren't moving. They were all standing, like they were frozen in place. I dropped down to my knees, feeling extremely light headed. I was still coughing as I saw someone coming down the hallway. I reached one hand out. "H-help.." I wheezed. My vision faded to black before the person reached me. ~Complete

He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Complete
For the First Time | n.h.
I look into the blue eyes of my best friend and it feels like staring down a stranger. They are familiar and foreign all in the same moment, glossy and pleading. The dimly lit street allows only enough light to cast glimmers on our faces and subtle shadows on the ground. It's raining but I've hardly noticed; all I see is him. "Megan please don't go," he says desperately. "I-I'm sorry." A tear falls steadily down my cheek. I don't want to go but I have to be strong for myself. I run forward and wrap my arms around him in a hug. "I love you Niall," I say near his ear, "I just don't like the person you've become." I hold back a sob, "When my best friend comes back tell him to find me." I don't say another word I just go, leaving him all alone in the dark street...Complete
The Shadow of Stars
Sprawled out on the ground covered head to toe in bright blue paint wasn't exactly how I envisioned the first day of my last year at high school playing out yet here I am. I suppose it was hopeful thinking, presuming that everything would just roll on by smoothly and I'd be able to just survive this year unnoticed by everyone especially considering half the school was grouping around me with their phones held out snickering and filming like I was born to be a jester. And just when I thought it couldn't possibly get any worse Micah Holt, the schools quarterback, the most popular kid on the block and the next Alpha of the Crescent Pack in which we reside stumbled upon me.![[eight hundred miles]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/159206466-256-k410252.jpg)

The rain was pounding hard on the floor, pattering against my roof and soaking the grass. We were protected from my roof, but we were both still so cold. "I don't wanna lose you." I closed my eyes and tried to fight against the pain in my chest. "Just tell me I won't." "You won't," he said, pulling me closer for another hug. I grabbed onto his sweater desperately, pathetically, trying to keep him next to me for as long as possible. "I promise."Complete
