Snape's Little Pet Snake

Mya is the daughter of two very famous Slytherins but from ages 1-11 she had no idea about the wizarding world. When she goes to Hogwarts she gets sorted into Slytherin, like her parents, which is supposedly the home of all dark wizards. She's surprised but very quickly finds out that it's not a bad thing. But Mya has a secret that she doesn't want anyone to know: She was abused. She keeps it quiet until a certain snarky potions master, and her head of house, starts asking questions after seeing how little she owns during a routine inspection of her dorm.
