Les récits mythologiques ne nous quittent jamais vraiment. Ils s'insinuent dans nos esprits et réfractent leurs mille couleurs sur le monde qui nous entoure. Il n'y a pourtant plus guère en commun entre la société moderne et le règne des dieux grecs, me direz-vous . Pourtant, à y bien regarder, leur passion et leur violence n'ont pas délaissé les humains qu'ils ont enfantés et parmi lesquels il aiment tant se dissimuler.
Je vous présenterai ici des nouvelles qui sont des réécritures (parfois dans le monde contemporain) de mythes grecs assez peu connus. Il y a autant de versions d'un mythe que d'auteurs pour les raconter et j'ai donc souhaité continuer à faire vivre ces histoires dont les raffinements de cruauté me touchent toujours...
Peut-être vous rappelleront-elles quelques souvenirs.
