2022: This needs to be rewritten, and I am currently rewriting it on my AO3. Check my profile for a link to my AO3 profile, under Mel_the_Pirate! It's almost complete, though I had to take a break due to the Fall 2022 semester starting up. 2015: Crystal has gone through the four regions of Kanto, Sinnoh, Johto, and Unova, collecting Pokémon, defeating rivals, and gaining badges, like any other Pokémon trainer. Right after she gained her eighth Gym badge in Unova, she had an urge to visit her home region of Kanto and her friends who live there. After visiting with her family and friends in Pallet Town, she headed to Cerulean Cape to visit Bill, who started up Crystal's PC Pokémon storage system. Bill was in the middle of an experiment and Crystal offers to help, which brings her the ability of a Ditto: the ability to change into any Pokémon. That is, with practice. But no one can get such a power and keep it secret for very long... First part in my My (Twisted) Pokémon Journey series! Next: PMD: The World of Darkness.

Alright, this I've been wanting to do for years. This series will follow my character through his various journeys throughout the pokemon games, with a few samples from the show just for character reasons. This isn't an ash fanfic, He's not even in this series. My rivals name is just the first thing I thought of, so don't rage please. I will deviate from the games a few times to make it a little more interesting, but overall it's the same. Also, my character does and will age, and in this story he's ten, just starting his journey, and makes a few dumb moves (Remember, this is my first pokemon game, I wasn't an absolute moron, but I made rookie mistakes.) Beware of the 1 yaoi smut chapter that I put a * by it if you're against things like that. I only did it for a friend. The rest of the chapters are normal. Other than that chapter which most readers are being drawn to right now, the other ones are about him stopping a criminal organization, meeting Pokémon, and facing strong opponents (Like most people on a Pokémon Journey).

Team Rocket, a criminal organization with disastrous plans is hiding mind-blowing secrets. Buckle up, cause it's going to be one hell of an adventure! Frequently Asked Questions: Q - What's special about this fanfiction? A - The books have an architectured story, from mysteries to time travel. From being awfully childish to brutally mature. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does. The character mostly appears in flashbacks but is an important character.
