Matthew is a 18 year old guy who's next In line to become an alpha. He's like any other guy. Drinking, sleeping with girls, getting high, but that doesn't stop him from rejecting his mate. He doesn't give a shit of what anyone says. All he wants is to become alpha just so he can get away with anything, But that's not the case.

Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self.
