Enter the world of a young wood elf as she traverses her way through the horrors and wonders of her world.
This story is the backstory to one of my Dungeons and Dragons characters! This is going to be a much longer work and probably one of my first, better, orignal works of fiction. See if you can spot all the Critical Role Easter eggs I've put into this. Enjoy!

Okay, so I'm really bad at descriptions so here's my attempt at a small summary: Basically the protagonist of this story is searching for her friends little sister who's gone missing. Her search brings her to an unsavoury location, and the awful weather isn't helping her out much either. As she journeys deeper she soon realises that her suspicions were correct - an old 'friend' has returned, and this time they don't plan on letting our protagonist get away... So how was that? (This is a novella I wrote in '11 and it's one of my very first stories. My writing style has changed a lot since then, but I'm sharing this with some minor editing because it's the story that gave me a love of writing and for that it'll always hold a special place in my heart.
