Astrid had never realised just how true the everyday saying was until her first and only love comes to a crashing, burning end. After a long struggle trying to find herself and settle into the new 'normal' without him, she comes to the conclusion that in order to move on, she has to make drastic changes. Accepting an invite to move to the other side of Canada to stay with her grandmother in Vancouver seems like the easiest way to make a fresh start.
