Abi wanted to be a model.
Melanie wanted to be a film director.
Only one of them got their dream job...in London.
The other had to stay behind.
IN the end, Abi had to leave, leaving the girl who she was falling in love with, and who was falling in love with her.
Melanie had to give away her best friend to the great streets of London and stay in the US, waiting for Abi's return.
Abi's life went on as expected. She got a job as a model, extending her stay in London for five years. She became very wealthy and made a name for herself. But she never slept with anyone. She only ever flirted but stopped it before they tried to make a move.
Melanie, however, did have her first time.
And it led to more problems than her 18-year-old self knew how to deal with.
And she wished she could tell Abi.
