Everyone has a color; blue, purple, brown, white, red, yellow, orange, green. They each symbolize rank among other things. For Bedelia the only thing she wants to do is be a normal sixteen year old, but that's not gonna happen. Since she known as a "youngling" in her huge Romanian family she is always protected and is the youngest in her family. But when they return from a trip in Romania, everything changes her brother Michael is different, her crush Zak is dating someone he shouldn't and things happen to her family that change EVERYTHING! For Bedelia her life is anything but normal.
