My own version of 'The Enemy' series by Charlie Higson, an amazing author and I love his books!
After the world turns upside down Ali, Sky and Kyle fight alongside other kids as they try to survive in the aftermath of a disaster that left everyone over the age of 14 mindless, diseased cannibals. In this new world kid's have to band together and defeat what is left of the 'grownups' and take back London and the world. Or die. Kids have had to grow up fast and fight to survive this harsh reality. With humanity on the brink of extinction, what have we become?

This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
