The Slap of a Siren

Charity Ferguson suspected something was a little off when her intuitive mother tried to kill her when she was just six years old. Nevertheless, she lived a relatively normal life among other humans.
It wasn't until she bumped into the devilishly fragile siren, Maud Hemingway, that her life finally began to make sense.
However, Maud proved to be malicious and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with killing. Charity soon learnt that Maud had taken an oath never to kiss a human being.
When Charity's intuitive mother is injured in an unfortunate accident, Charity realizes her own life is at risk.
Despite Maud's inherent evilness and murderous tendencies, Charity finds herself falling for the siren. Only fate will decide whether she kills or protects her.
One night, a human appears before Charity and warns her of a darkness within Maud. The human gives Charity the deathly Excalibur - the only weapon that can defeat a fragile siren.
Will Charity find it in herself to kill the only creature who has ever made her feel truly loved?
