PROLOGUE:
After a few days, our bodies began to shake, begging for food, or something to consume to give us energy, but we had none. We had nothing, but a little bit of hope and each other. Everything else was stripped clean, like bathing in a bath of holy water, washing away all of our sins and evil deeds. After all, we didn't care anymore. Our hearts were gone, replaced with broken fragments of old memories, thoughts, and images that didn't make sense. All we knew, is that we had to survive. Bloody, broken, and bruised, but we had to make it. We had to pull through, and make it to Paradise. How? Only god knows. Right now, we're stuck in the Wasteland, with no idea how to get out.

The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Oh how she wishes that she left her safety knife in her room. Then they would be safe. Her family! She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. But despite having a degree in hands she was still jobless. When life was giving her bitter test then when a devil showed up at the door of her heart, dressed like an angel. The devil wants nothing but a favour from her while promising her everything she wants. Morally grey. That's the definition to construe Alex Vesper. Strict, rude, emotionless, focused and evil. He wants nothing but revenge from a certain someone who might have scratched his ego a little bit. And at that time Anastasia was the best option for him.

The bodies mount up, many lives will breakup, as I'm here to just tell a story. Don't look in the hill, though it is quite a thrill, I've heard it can get quite gory. Don't play with the heart, and don't think you're too smart, or you'll die with none of the glory. All are mad from the start, but you played your part, in the world of pure purgatory. Alas look a ghost, be careful you're not toast, you must want to see what I see. Society is ruthless, protection is fruitless, for in madness is when you are free. Perfection is dead, from the wounds we all bled, a cruel fate we did not foresee. While outsiders are safer, if only by a wafer, you can still hear them utter a plea. This is my first book...I don't know why I'm doing this torture to you guys... English is not my first language.There are many grammatical errors.I hope you guys will help me about that. All the characters are imaginary and story is mine .
