Dreams can tell us a lot of things. Being stuck in a dream that feels as if it is real is so out of the ordinary that Ellie can't bring herself to speak of it. But, every night, true as day, she dreams and her dreams are reality.
Ellie is immersed into a world not her own, but feels strangely familiar. A world hundreds of years away, in lifetimes already lived. But, she has a purpose here, she knows. The dreams edge her on and on, farther away from her world in 1996 and closer to their world in 1855. She walks the same streets, hears familiar bird calls, and sees the looming pines, but this world, in Dover, New Hampshire is so much older and unrefined.
