Nathan and Sadie met in high school, sweethearts for life. Actually, they ended up spending their lives together, side by side. Now, on his deathbed, Nathan lies in a coma, unable to communicate with the ones who love him, especially Sadie. But Sadie promises to stay by him, reading from a journal of stories (memories of their life together) that she has kept all these years. Each day she reads him an excerpt and visits by his bedside, all the while wondering: Can he hear me?
Little does she know, although he is inacapacitated physically, he is more than alive in his mind.
