Jeremy has the hunters mark, so klaus buries Jeremy to try to get rid of it, but Jeremy comes back as a astral projection until he is dug back up. Jeremy tries to get out, but the problem is that only klaus can see him, so Jeremy tries to get klaus to let his out of the coffin.
(I don't own Vampire diaries' characters, set around the end of season 4-ish).
(Klaus never meets haley and never conceives hope).
