Two hundred years in the future, the Ether is discovered. Soon after, people with Magic surface and become known as Mages. Five years later, The Magi and the Magum, two opposing Magic Hierarchies, are formed. Two years later, war breaks out. The war never really affected Pierre Lyons. Raised as an orphan, he was quickly adopted by the famous summoner, Dr. James Lyons. He lives a care-free life with his three friends, Aiden, Faust, and Saphira. On one horrible night, the Magum invade the peaceful little town, nearly killing everyone. There is no sign of Pierre's step-father, and the only way to find him is to defeat the Magum... But before that, they have to figure out how to end the war, no matter the cost.

"I felt so caged again, as if I had wings but I wasn't allowed to fly, a voice but I wasn't allowed to speak. It was a scary feeling at first, but later you just get used to it, but you just want freedom and the feeling of safety. Why did I have to be caged in this dump? I thought about the Phoenix again. Did the Phoenix hate me? What had I ever done to this Phoenix? I balled my fists up in anger as I stared outside the window still, watching a great brown eagle fly outside." ("The Normality" is part 1 of "Destiny of Fire", the first book of the "War of the Phoenix" series) For quite a long time, a legendary bird called the "Phoenix" tried to possess a woman and her children to come in hopes of taking over the world. When it gets ready to try and possess its next victim, Alisha Quill, a group called the Storm-seekers and another group called the Spreaders are hard at work to stop the Phoenix in any way possible, including asking for the help of the most powerful man in the world; Almaroz. Meanwhile, nine heroes rise from the most unlikely places and even though they don't know it, their paths are set to cross and their destiny falls under the feet of the storm-seekers and the Phoenix itself. Dawn and Demise (The Fated Series, #3)

23 parts Ongoing Mature

((FAIR WARNING: I do not update regularly because life gets too crazy sometimes, but I do my best.)) Come dawn the war begins. By dusk, demise reigns. Fourteen kingdoms united by the two prophesied elementals against one man and the beasts of the underworld. As the war begins in the central continent on the southern border of Vandaria, guarded by the armies of the Fae and Andrastrian allies, Darius and Fauna search for someone who could turn the tides of war. Decisions will be hard, sacrifices will be made, and the prophecy will come true and the asking price paid. **Average Word Count Per Chapter: 8,000 **Unedited NOTE FROM ME! - I very much model my works to resemble published examples, so there are no notes in any chapters from me, trigger warnings for chapters, etc. Just the world my brain likes to escape to every now and then. Thanks for reading!
