Iris Knight is content with her life in the characteristic city of Melbourne, Australia. Despite being "down under", she feels on top of the world; surrounded by close friends, and partying until the sun comes up. However, her parents don't agree with her life choices and decide to do something about it. Iris is unexpectedly told by her delusional parents that she is in an arranged marriage - with a man called Tom in London! Upon arriving in the new country, she works hard to make a life for herself and earn the trust of her parents once again. If things couldn't get any worse, she begins to develop feelings for her nextdoor neighbour, also called Tom.
