Opal has no control over her body. Upon her imprisionment as part of a power gaining experiment, Opal is determined to escape. The problem is that her captor, Arvia, controls her motions and can make her do anything and everything she pleases. The prisoners are like puppets that can be used and then killed once they have expired. The time for escape is narrowing as Arvia’s power grows stronger every minute and the punishment of going against her is worse than death.

The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
