Katie was never normal. Her parents are alcoholics, leaving her and her brother Neal to fend for themselves. Her friends, Carlos and Jaceylen, are her safe havens. Katie is forced to do anything she can to help her brother and herself get through what might as well may be the hardest time of her life.
Everything changes, though, when she discovers that she has the ability to travel to a different timeline, one in particular where aliens take over Earth. She quickly learns that she could save the world of the other timeline with this ability.
