Mariana Benson, Paulette Johnson, and Ivy Friesner escaped from their death sentence in 1870; Mariana and Paulette escaped on the pirate ship, and then went onto sail the seas, while Ivy stayed behind, in Alabastor. Henry Winchester proceeded to marry Abigail Grey.

In 1871, Captain Mark and his crew dock in London for a short while to exchange one of the ropes that had kept the sails unfurled, after it snapped during a particularly dreadful storm. While wandering around, in search of some food to take with them, Mariana and Paulette soon discover that they've been left behind. When they go to try and get a room at a hotel, Mariana is mistaken for another person. She figures that, until she can contact Captain Mark, she'll fall into the role and gain what she needs to do so. What will happen when Mariana totally falls into the role? Will she forget why she assumed the identity in the first place?

Henry Winchester is married to Abigail Grey, and he is anything but happy about it. His mind is full of thoughts of Mariana and guilt of what he did to her. Now, he struggles with trying to make the best of his marital situation.

Ivy Friesner has led a lonely life ever since Mariana and Paulette had left. Her tavern had gone downhill, but one night, when a straggler comes into her tavern, Ivy's world gets turned around.

In this sequel, a friendship will be tested, a relationship will take a turn for the worst, and a life will be transformed.

"... So maybe I did do it!" he mumbled, looking aimlessly at the ground. "Do what? Jumped us away in time?" "Wha...? How did you know I was going to say that?" "Well, first of all, last night you had this bright light around you, and then, the the next thing I knew, we wound up here. Then, while you were passed out, I looked a bit around. And by all indications, this is the exact same place we were at when we crashed. It just looks different: no asphalt roads, no city lights, no cell phone signal. And third, I just saw a ship at sea, which looked like the damn Mayflower! So I figured it can only mean one thing: we are in the past!" ************************************************ As they are about to experience a fatal car crash, LA surgeon Diego Perez and his wife Louise get sent back in time to the 19th century. It turns out that Diego has the ability to time-travel, and though he can not fully control it, this is not his first time doing it. The two get sent to the timeline of Diego's youth, three months after his mysterious disappearance when he was twenty years old. But he has his modern-day wife with him, who has her own connections to this place and time, and things get more complicated by the day. Will he be able to figure out how to get his wife back home? Evie: Rowan Alastair Volkov had been my biggest nightmare and rival since I met him. He was like a shadow I couldn't shrug off. Perhaps my own. With his arrogance, his snide remarks, his grumpy frown, and his sadistic smirk, he proved to be the one thing standing in my way to a happy life and a happy ending. Regardless of our history and families, we were strangers. That was until the one link separating us shattered. What I never imagined was Rowan asking me for help. Asking me to be his wife. On paper only. Worse? I never imagined falling for him. We signed ourselves away to certain terms & truths, but now, everything was different. Because I fell in love with him beyond those terms. Rowan: Evie Rose Spencer has been the epitome of an annoying thorn in my side that I can't pull out. I've done everything to escape her. With her sarcastic wit, her confident facade, her brighter-than-the-sun smile, and her sparkly ocean blue eyes, I'd come to hate her more than anybody I'd ever met. But, we had an understanding. Be strangers. Then my whole life began to fall apart all thanks to one inheritance will. I was meant to take the seat beside my older brother and run the Volkov empire. In order for me to take what I inherited, I had to be married and make it last a whole year. If I failed, everything I wanted would be taken from me. The best shot I had at finding a new wife was marrying a stranger. But fate tied me down to Evelyn. We signed ourselves away to certain terms & truths, but if she breaks them, she'll have no one to blame but herself. Breaking her heart was inevitable with this marriage license. I stared at the person sitting on the chair in front of me. That instant I realised that I didn't know this person at all. This was not the person I have been living with. This person just looked like that person. There was nothing same except the looks. The pose, the expression, the emotions in the voice, nothing matched. I couldn't believe that it is the same person. "Doesn't mean anything?" I asked with a low voice as anger filled me. "Yes, it was only a Vegas Mishap." ********************************************************************************** When Ophelia Russo traveled from Italy to the United States, she had no idea what was going to happen to her. Wanting to forget all her worries and the stress of managing a fast growing business, one night she finds herself in a bar in Las Vegas, and in the company of the very handsome businessman, Ethan Welsh, who himself is on a vacation for a break from his womanizing life in Greece. Two hot people, one lively night in Vegas and a few drinks down, what do you expect to happen? No, no. If it was just a one night stand that had happened, it wouldn't have been this bad. What had actually happened was no less than the worst nightmare for Ethan and Ophelia. Suddenly, it becomes more than just a vacation for the Italian girl and the Greek man when they wake up married to each other. What follows is a love story, you think? It's a messed-up destiny, I bet. After all, it can't be just A Vegas Mishap. ************************************************************************************************** Warning: Contains mature scenes and swearing.
