Midnight Orin Kaituhi was a normal girl. She worked at a boring job, lived in a simple home, and went through life in a constant, boring loop of work and downtime. However, somewhere in the farthest reaches of her mind she years for her old life. Her old life as a singer/songwriter.

Music was such a big part of her life and a small part of her wants to feel the excitement and happiness of performing again. But she can't. A horrible incident from years ago hes left her with a guarded heart, a lose of writing ability, and a vow to never return to the world of music, for fear of the past repeating itself. However, when she's struck with a rare bolt of inspiration, she can't help but write down the lyrics as they come to mind.

Surely, nothing could happen due to one little song right?

When a member of a struggling band finds her lyrics, accidentally dropped on the floor, he returns to his band excited and buzzing with one question. Who is this girl and how can he get her to write for them?
