Hailie went to the office to 'check in' and found the student body president there. Her mine was blown, he looked perfect. LITERALLY. Perfect. No perfect wasn't enough to describe him, it was so hard to describe. He was tall, with short black hair, messy, but still somehow neat. He had glasses, but was still hot, his eyes were like a pool you could drown in. He was masculine, not super masculine, but there wasn't that little either. He was basically eye candy.
"Take a picture, it lasts longer." he said, Hailie then snapped out of her thoughts. He slightly laughed and started to walk towards me.
"Uh...."She said, thinking of an excuse. " I was just looking in that general direction, so don't think too much into it." Hailie puffed her cheeks, trying her best to act as he finally stepped in front of her.
"Uh-Hu sure, I get it a lot." he said with a smile. "Whatever, " Hailie rolled her eyes as I said this. He's most likely full of himself, why not. Almost every hot guy on the planet is full of himself. She wouldn't be surprised if he was in that collection.
"Anyway, I take it your Hailie?" he questioned.
BOOK 1 in the Drowning/Bully Standalone Series.
WARNING: This book contains intense bullying, explicit scenes, triggering language, violence, and psychological content.
I told Caden to cancel his stupid party.
He told me, with that infuriating smirk, "Why? Planning to be my snack tonight?"
Caden has made my life hell for four years, ever since our parents got married.
He's gorgeous, arrogant, and the kind of boy Stanford girls trip over themselves for.
Me? I'm the only one who sees right through him.
He's a blatant bully, the devil who turned me into a surreptitious one.
And now we're stuck sharing the same off-campus apartment for our entire freshman year.
Living together means new rules, no boundaries... and a tension I never expected.
The closer we get, the harder it becomes to remember why we ever hated each other in the first place-
and nothing threatens our pride more than that.
