We turned to each other. "So what are we gonna do Quin?" I had to come up with something fast. "Um- Live our lives like nothing happened?" I responded meticulously. "What if they're hiding something!?" Scott was the conspirator of our friendship.
She always kept me on my toes. "What do you mean Scott?" I was intrigued. "What if they have some secret hideout? Or-or there's an old Gold Mine!?" She spoke loud and agaited. I hushed her.
Ok maybe she's right. But if we wanted to find out we would have to inspect it ourselves.
"Fine." I said with a pause. "Lets go." She furrowed her eyes at me. "You have to be kidding. For real?" I nodded back as the reply.
