We look at a large family living in an Adirondack cottage in 1861, the civil war is beginning. Clementine is a woman now, 19, but it's rough when you're the only girl in a household besides your mother, especially when you add in six brothers. This is a beautiful story filled with battles, real ones, and battles of love.

Once Upon A War
The country has been divided for years. The East and the West. 5 years ago, they built a wall. 2 years ago, they stopped letting people through it. 6 months ago the East assembled my team. A week ago, the West declared war. My team will be the turning point in this battle for power. If we were to be captured by the West, they would win but if the East doesn't use us in the field, this war may last decades. My name is Aspen So and my country is at war. When the Blue Meets the Gray
America's greatest conflict. The Civil War. 1861-1865. Brother against brother, father against son. Elizabeth Hawkins is only 19 when war breaks out. She must make the biggest decision in her short life: Does she join her brother and nurse those in need, or does she live comfortably in the peace of her own home? Note: The battles and commanders are real events and people. I tried to be as accurate as possible with events of battles. Other than those, this is a completely original story. Also, the picture above is an illustration of the attack on Fort Sumter April 12, 1861; beginning of one of the bloodiest wars in American history, if not the bloodiest. The Reunion
As bitter and sweet as the relationship was, she had to move to Florida in her senior year. That day, Clementine ended the two-year relationship that they had together. It broke Louis' heart at the time because he felt like she was his world. Although, Louis couldn't believe Clementine was in town and he would be seeing her after all these years. He felt giddy to see her. But she could have moved on and got married or even had kids. That thought pained him, yet he must accept her choices in life. Is what an understanding person would say. "They're dating, dude." Minerva told him. He suddenly jolted into a sitting position, his brown eyes wide open. "WHAT!?" Louis shouted. A Country Divided : Through Blood United
On a warm morning in the 1850's, Evangeline relaxes in her massive Missourian estate without a worry in the world. Evangeline's day collapses as her twin brother and father burst into the living room, chasing after the "family friend" because she did not fulfill her morning jobs, revealing the friend's true role in the house: a slave; brought into the Freebourne's family estate as their property. The event forever altered Evangeline's view on both the idea of slavery and her family, provoking her to run away with Jewel, and instead of the warm feeling of compassion toward her father and brother, a newer, colder perception emerged: hate. Although she still deeply cared for her flesh and blood, her feelings competed as she abhorred her family's principles. Her hate for her brother's Confederate opinions and her will to fight for freedom for all could drive her to take the lives of those opposed to her -including her twin brother- but does that really make Evangeline a killer? [NOT ENTIRELY ACCURATE, MADE TO FIT THE PLOT, it's called Historical Fiction for a reason] [sorry that the cover looks so photoshopped lol] [STORY CREATED ON MARCH 30, 2017]Zakończone
