La storia di una sfortunata coppia che non riesce ad avere figli, a causa della presunta sterilità del marito. La moglie, dopo essere rimasta incinta, scopre che il suo tanto atteso figlio, a causa di un errore, nasce morto. Ma, nonostante questa macabra scoperta, decide di accudirlo  lo stesso, adottando da lì in poi un comportamento "ossessivamente" malato nei confronti del feto morto....
