I have no name. I have no heart. My home is everywhere. I am the General's daughter.

***
The war between the Great Desert Kingdom of Asteria and the Kingdom of Evanlea has taken so many lives and livelihoods from both for the past hundred years, and to stop the war, a truce has been made: both kingdoms agreed for the eldest daughter of Asterian ruler and the youngest son of the Evanlean monarch to marry.

It has already been seven years since Yvanna's father assigned her role in the warrior clan 'el-Mejihien household--to be an information-gatherer. She was then stripped off of her title, of her name, of her individuality, and left to fend for herself in an obscure orphanage.

As her coming of age closes, the high priestess assigns a job only she can manage to do: to be her eldest daughter to be sent off to the Kingdom of Evanlea.
