Savannah Gracie Reynolds is heading off to college. Excited to have a roommate, to have fun, to see her best friend again, but sad to leave behind her family. The one flaw in that plan? Her roommate turns out to be a hot, flirty, baseball playing asshole by the name of Max Levi Parker, due to a flaw in the system. Savannah does her best to stay away from the jerk, but that's harder than she expected.

I WANT TO POINT OUT: not everything in here is accurate to actual college. This is just my general perception. Constructive criticism is appreciated, but please, no direct hate. This was also written when I was fourteen and has not been properly edited, and said fourteen year old self has not seen college campuses.

Savannah Carter has spent years ignoring Jaxon Reed. As her brother's best friend and the school's star basketball player, he's the definition of off-limits. Annoying, cocky, and frustratingly good-looking, Jaxon is the one guy she refuses to fall for-no matter how much he gets under her skin. But when Jaxon moves into her house for the summer, avoiding him becomes impossible. Late-night encounters in the kitchen, accidental touches that linger too long, and the undeniable electricity between them make it harder and harder to pretend she doesn't feel something. Jaxon knows he shouldn't cross the line. Ethan has been his best friend since they were kids, and Savannah is strictly hands-off. But the more time they spend together, the harder it is to resist her sharp wit, fierce determination, and the way she challenges him like no one else ever has. As the heat of summer intensifies, so does the tension between them. But when a single moment threatens to ruin everything-her trust, her brother's friendship, and Jaxon's future-Savannah has to decide if risking it all for love is worth the consequences. Because some games are meant to be played. And some lines are meant to be crossed.
