We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. INSIGHT ON MAI DIARY
The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me. This story is about a girl called Vanessa. She is fifteen and has three brothers so as you can imagine she can take a punch. She was tough and strong and has a very crazy sense of humour and loves pranks. And her whole family are werewolves. At school one day she sees this group of guys beating up another guy so she steps in and beats the guys up. About a week later when they are out for dinner in respect of their sister that died at birth. When they arrive home they find their house in flames being fought by firemen. It was all burnt to a crisp. Nothing could be saved. Except a heart shaped locket that belonged to her mum who died almost three years ago. It was pure gold. The group of boys that she beat up had started the fire as revenge for hurting their pride. She marched over to them and slapped the leader, who was also the alpha of the neighbouring pack right across the face. Everything changed when she felt sparks fly up her arm...Complete

I enter at the club and see people, bouncing their heads, jumping. There’s also a band playing a rock song, but I barely understand it since the vocalist is shouting the lyrics. Plus, the crowd is thick and they’re all noisy. This is a club, after all. I head to the long table and sit my butt on the chair. I order some water with ice. I look at my left side and see him. Azariah. The one who called me his babe. And he’s with another girl. Azariah kisses the girl’s jaw, and the girl giggles. She puts his mouth on his and I can see the tongue. Oh. Why are they need to do that? I mean, it’s pretty disgusting. Putting your tongue inside his or her mouth. It’s yucky. Definitely yucky. Azariah breaks the kiss first and the girl giggles again. The waiter serves my order and goes away. I shove the cup gently and walk towards them. Revenge. OHHHHHH.
