Prologue:
I had managed to tune them out by now, to tune out the relentless screaming and fighting. Unsurprisingly, by the time that their arguments had passed, they had completely forgotten what had started it in the first place. Their constant bickering had been going off and on for years, but never as bad as it was now. Every time we all hung out together, a war broke out on either side of me- with yours truly stuck in the middle to call a cease-fire.
When the bell rang for lunch I felt like I could snap at any moment. The smell of food pushed me to keep walking though. I pushed open the blue doors to the cafeteria only to discover that somebody else was pulling at the exact same time. Being my klutzy self, I managed to trip over absolutely nothing and fall right into none other than the culprit himself- Brad Garner. He also happens to be the captain of the lacrosse team, a straight A student, and by far the hottest senior to ever grace these halls. I not only managed to take myself down, but also to tackle him. Too afraid to see the commotion I caused, I kept my eyes shut. After the laughter died down, I decided it was probably a good time to stand up. Sitting up and opening my eyes, I was shocked to find, not that I was now the laughing stock of the entire school, (which was inevitable after what I just did) but that the boy that I just tackled moments ago held his hand out to help me up.

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. "I had a wonderful time tonight," says the guy. He reaches to his face and removes his mask. I recognize him immediately. I shut my locker and started making my way towards my next class . I was already late and the hallway was almost empty . I picked up my pace . Suddenly a loud thump came from behind me and an immense crushing pain seared through my back . I was slammed in the lockers . I closed my eyes from the sudden contact and pain . Opening my eyes I groaned . The breathe left me all at once . He was the one who pushed . His eyes held so many emotions . anger , hatred and betrayal . It pained me to see that I was the cause of them . Suddenly his fist came flying with full force towards my face and my eyes widened at the thought that he was going to hit me . I closed my eyes waiting for the impact but instead of breaking my face he punched the locker inches away from my face putting a dent on it . He smirked at me . All the colors drained from my face . " What did you thought that no one will know who you are ?" The moment the words left from his mouth I stiffened . He knew . Oh my god ! He knew ! His smirk even widened more when he saw the emotion in my eyes . Intense fear . I'm screwed . He pushed me more against the locker . It hurts in my back so much .
