Aly felt the feeling of suffocation. She couldn't breathe. Truth do not enter her lungs for her to really live. But that was then - when she was left behind by her mom. Thick compact lies was given to her and the people the Contingent. Lies of the regime does not permit clean and fresh air and water. Electricity was under control. Everything was restricted, and nobody disapproves, but she knows everything. Everybody in the Contingent inhales lies while Aly exhales it. Aly was already fighting back. She knows.
