Book 3 of My Vampire Mate 17 years later... "Just give up!!" he said while he dodged my sword. I ignored him and came after him again. I ran while I tried to stab him with my sword but he kicked it away, I was prepared. I quickly grabbed my dagger that was on my upper right leg. I quickly ran behind him and caught him off guard. I gave a smile before I wrapped my arm around his next, exposing it to my dagger. He sighed. "I don't want to hurt you, please stop this." It made me lose control, he came here and tried to take me away and he expects to walk out here without a fight? Not a chance. "Please." He pleaded but I buried the tip of my dagger into his neck. "Shut up..." I whispered. "You don't know who I am." I said while my breathing hitches. "I actually know." He proudly said. I tightened my arm around his neck, choking him. "You're just some random stalker that's been copying my face! I've been living with hybrids and I know a hybrid that can change her appearance! I don't trust you!" I said while I tried to burry my dagger deeper but it became impossible. "Wha-" I tried to speak but the atmosphere felt tenser. "I've told you for a hundred times, I. Know. You." He said while he easily broke free, taking my dagger with him, I was weaponless. He threw it aside and then looked at me with his dead eyes, a moment ago, it was full of life. "What are you?" I asked. He shook his head while still looking at me. "The same as you." He said. "If you don't stop now, I'm afraid that I'm going to hurt you, and trust me, I don't want to hurt you." I don't trust him at all. "I don't." I said while I tried to attack him but I was pulled back by some force. He was changing. (This is a work of fiction. "Who are you?" He asked eyes as wide and bright as the moon. His expression didn't even fit his pretty face anymore, it was just plastered there laughing at me crushing me down. This is not me! I don't get emotional and break down. I was raised to be strong and fight these horrible beasts that murdered my family. I took a look at him. He was all tied up and bruised. His dress shirt was wet and torn with blood all over it. I hated how he looked, it broke me down. "Answer me!" He yelled nearly in my face. I closed my eyes shut and felt a tear leave my eye. How can i just betray him like this? And make a fool out of myself. "I.. I.." I started but i couldn't Finnish my words. I felt like i'd die if i do. I met Josh Teris when i was attacked by a pack of werewolves. He was on the side of the creak when i saw him i could tell he was a werewolf, he had a dark and dangerous look to him. He was the most beautiful man I've ever seen, he was clueless so i lied to him my name and made up a whole different person that i wasn't. Maybe i did it because i wanted to get away from the life i had. Be normal for just one second. My life was based on rules and whenever i was with him he made me feel alive. I knew danger was lurking in his way. When it came it revealed all of me. Secrets came out and things started to reveal that i never thought was true myths that i read about in old books at least i thought they were myths. Now he knows and now i don't know if he would look at me the same. Every Vengeance, Has it's Price.
